All change on the weather front again. Some pretty strong winds forecast for the next couple of days

Wind forecast SW 20mph, current wind is SW 15mph.

Sea conditions:. Water is clear on Chesil and around the Portland rock marks but still slightly coloured in  Portland Harbour.  The surf on Chesil is starting to pick up and will continue to do so through out the day.Temperature 10.6*c Weymouth high water 10.09pm 2.2m high.

Chesil Beach forecast: Mackerel in good numbers all along the beach. Take advantage of the rising surf this afternoon and try lure fishing for Bass. This is perfect conditions for catching them. Use a Zonk 120 in rainbow pearl.

Portland: Plenty of Pollock and Wrasse falling to lures. When the tides start to drop back the Bill should be a good place to try for a Bass on lures. A few Garfish are starting to show on float fished Mackerel strips. Keep your hooks small, size 4 to 6 and fish only about 8 inches down.

Portland Harbour: Water has cleared now, so if you are looking to target some Bass on lures then give Sandsfoot Castle a go over highwater

Boats: The Weymouth charter fleet will be spending the next couple of days alongside, but when they do get out expect some nice Cod and Pollock from the wrecks. Black Bream are showing from Warbarrow Bay.
