It is tine for you to vote for the May fish of the month winner. The top three fish from the poll will be judged by myself and the sponsor and the final winner will be announced on Wednesday.

This months prize has kindly been put up by Field & Trek and consists of a fly rod and reel. It is a great prize that you can use on rivers and lakes, or for those amongst us that want to try and target Bass, Mullet, Pollock and Mackerel on a fly, you would be delighted with it.  94110903_l 76869202_l

So far this months entires have been dominated by several different species of Rays, but remember it is not necessarily the biggest fish that wins. Once entry has been closed we will open a poll. The top two fish from the poll will then go forward to be judged and a winner announced.

So here are the rules: Fish must be caught during this month and all entries must have at least one accompanying picture. Checks will be made on the date time stamp of the picture. Fish can be from boat or shore, freshwater or saltwater, but they have to have been caught from the waters of Dorset and Devon and Hampshire. I want to increase this area as I start to build up my network and include other areas of the country. Hopefully Cornwall will be next with the Bristol Channel and Wales coming shortly after. The winning fish will be the fish that the sponsor and myself deem to be the best fish. We will take into account where, when and how the fish was caught, so please provide as much information as you can about the method of capture
