I just want to clarify about the Gill nets. They are spread around Portland and as far as I am aware they are not along Chesil Beach. Therefore the beach fishing and especially the mackerel fishing is not effected. I will post more as I get updates.

how far in are the gill nets at portland is it still good for fish at all?
hi,orange buoys all along the chesil about 2 nautical miles out.just off the main buoy at ferrybridge to as far as you can see past the bridging camp section.watched them dropped this morning,orange buoys have been in this position for over a year.suspected gill nets.laid by the trawler from west bay.
